PROVIS signed a new contract for hydro power in Finland.


Imatra HPP is situated in the city of Imatra in the south east part of Finland. This new project consists of refurbishment of two turbines with a capacity of 24 MW each, the capacity will increase with almost 30% after refurbishment due to the new efficient turbines. The plant will then have a total capacity of 192 MW with seven units. This is the largest hydro power plant in Finland. PROVIS is participating in the erection of the two turbines and installation of the new draft tube lining. The project is scheduled to be completed in the beginning of September 2015.
